From 28 October 2024, Optus will be repurposing its 3G network to boost the capacity, speed, and reliability of its 4G network and to rollout 5G to even more Australians. If you are activating your SIM for use on a phone that relies on the 3G network you may not be able to connect to the Optus network from 28 October 2024.
